TAKE THE PERCEPTION SURVEY |
Here at Greenville Central School District, we’re always looking for ways to improve. To that end, we’re conducting our annual perception survey, and we need your feedback.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey appropriate to your child/children’s school building(s). Survey links will be open until March 20. We will use this feedback to guide our efforts as we work to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students. ES Parents/Families

GYM-LYMPICS
With imagination and creativity, Coach Bruce transformed the new gym at Ellis into a Winter Olympics arena this week! From ice hockey to curling, luge, figure skating, and more, students rotated through nine action-packed stations inspired by different winter sports. Not only did students enjoy trying new activities, but they also had the opportunity to practice important skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship. It may not have been on snow or ice (or in Italy), but the Olympic spirit was alive and well over 4,000 miles away in Coach Bruce’s gym!
PARENT INPUT ON PLACEMENT FOR 2026-27 The creation of class lists is a complex process that prioritizes the educational needs of each child and the needs of the entire grade level. Having parent information is helpful to us as we match children to their peers and specific learning environments. Please do not request a specific teacher, as these requests are not honored.
Final decisions regarding placements, with thoughtful consideration of parent and faculty recommendations, will be made by the principal. Responses to the Parent Input on Placement form are due by Monday, March 30, 2026. MATH NIGHT
Math night is back on March 12th! Open to third, fourth, and fifth-grade students accompanied by their families, this event is a math-filled, fun night. Seventh grade social studies students are learning about the Constitution and the federal government. In an activity designed to simulate the concepts of separation of powers and checks and balances at work in the law-making process, students worked in three groups to create a “healthy lunch menu.” Each group had a specific role and some power over the other two groups. This led to some passionate discussion and a better understanding of the way our federal government works.
