The creation of class lists is a complex process that prioritizes the educational needs of each child and the needs of the entire grade level. Having parent information is helpful to us as we match children to their peers and specific learning environments. Please do not request a specific teacher, as these requests are not honored.
Final decisions regarding placements, with thoughtful consideration of parent and faculty recommendations, will be made by the principal. Responses to the Parent Input on Placement form are due by Monday, March 30, 2026. FEBRUARY SPARTAN STRONG WINNERS
The Spartan Strong winners for February exemplify the trait of "take action" to improve school culture. These students foster a more positive school environment and empower others. For example, a student takes action by standing up for others, being helpful, leading by example, and being a role model for others. Congratulations to Brynlee M., Oaklynn L., Markus P., Emma H., Sebastian A., and Mandy C. Way to be Spartan Strong! |
Monday: Burger with smiley fries. Tuesday: Cheesy chicken quesadilla with corn. Wednesday: Chicken nuggets with green beans.

Cupcake Wars returned to Mrs. Pecylak's Advanced Foods class this week! Four teams competed for the title, with the challenge of preparing tasty cupcakes for a panel of judges. The Yellow Kitchen took home the win with a flawless execution of a Cupcake in a Cone - consisting of a strawberry-puree-filled chocolate cupcake, strawberry frosting, and topped with a chocolate-covered strawberry. The team was extra creative with their presentation! Green Kitchen came in second with their strawberry-filled lemon cupcake and buttercream frosting. Trailing only by a few points was the Blue Kitchen duo, who whipped up a chocolate peanut butter cupcake. Red Kitchen came in fourth with a wildly fun vanilla-filled funfetti cupcake, topped with raspberry buttercream frosting. All four kitchens did an incredible job, great work, chefs!
