Q4 MESSAGE FROM THE 8TH GRADE TEAM
Please take a few minutes with your student(s) to look over quarter 4 grades for assignments, quizzes, and tests posted in Synergy. Quarter 4 will be over before we know it, so it is very important to check on grades weekly. General Grade 8 Reminders:
→ Check our 8th-Grade Homework Website weekly for upcoming Assignments, Quizzes/Tests, and Final Exam Review materials. → Finish Quarter 4 Strong by keeping up with regular assignments, preparing for assessments, and checking on grades to see where you can make improvements.
→ Review each week leading up to your ELA Final Essay, Math 8 Final Exam, Social Studies Final Exam, Algebra 1 Regents (if applicable), Language Proficiency Exam (if applicable), Earth Science Regents (if applicable), and any other class’s final exam/project. Math 8 & Algebra 1 Reminders: → ALL Math Assignments and Quizzes are required to be completed and corrected (if necessary).
→ Please encourage students to make corrections to any question/assignment on which they lost credit. Each time a student earns more credit on ANY Assignment/Quiz, that student's average improves.
Please do not hesitate to email Erin Magee-Bolduc with any questions you may have.
