KIDS HEART CHALLENGE
Last week, students in grades 3–5 participated in the Kids Heart Challenge Jumpathon, raising funds to support lifesaving heart and stroke research, as well as educational and community programs that benefit children and families.
This year marked the 30th anniversary of Ellis’ participation in the Kids Heart Challenge, and our students raised an incredible $18,363. Since 1996, Ellis students have donated an astounding $398,983 to the American Heart Association!
Special congratulations go to sibling duo Juliana and Lucas L., who were the top fundraisers this year, raising more than $2,700. Outstanding job to Juliana, Lucas, and all of our students for their generosity and hard work.
Beyond fundraising, the Kids Heart Challenge helps students learn about the importance of physical fitness and heart health while showing them that helping others can be both meaningful and fun.
