Whether you're looking for a stable career with excellent benefits or a flexible position that aligns with your child's school schedule, Greenville has opportunities for you. The Job Fair will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Elementary School South Parking Lot (Lot #2) and Cafeteria. Interested candidates can apply and interview on the spot.
The District is currently seeking food service workers, aide/monitors, bus drivers, and substitutes for all positions. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from various departments, learn more about available positions, enjoy refreshments, and speak with current staff members about their experiences working at Greenville. Student volunteers will also be available to assist with childcare during the event. We're so grateful for community partners like GNH Lumber and John Ingalls! Their Build a Toolbox program has quickly become a favorite among our fourth graders. This fun, hands-on experience gives students the opportunity to build and take home their own toolbox while learning about the skilled trades from local volunteers. Thank you to GNH Lumber, John, and everyone who helped make this memorable learning experience possible fagain this year!
5TH GRADE CAREER DAY
This week's Career Day gave students an exciting glimpse into a variety of future career paths. Presenters included a Software Engineer, Veterinarian, Environmental Educator and Researcher, Architects, Greene County K-9 Sheriffs, a Nurse/EMT and a logger. Career Day allows students to engage with professionals and ask questions about their work. It also helps them discover opportunities that align with their unique interests and skills. Thank you to the Career Day organizers and presenters for making this inspiring day possible!
1,000 BOOK CLUB PROGRAM
The 1000 Book Club Program was once again successful for our UPK, Kindergarten and First Grade Students. We had 128 students participate, and there were 23,100 books read! Students received a certificate of participation this week. We are grateful to the families for their dedication and commitment to this program. We are also grateful for our volunteers who come in each week to exchange the bags for students. We had a small celebration to say thank you and to show our appreciation. The program will continue in the fall for incoming UPK, K and 1st graders. Have a wonderful summer and keep reading!

The 6th grade team has prepared a calendar to help students prepare for the end of the school year. 8TH GRADE MOVING UP CEREMONY
The 8th Grade Moving Up Ceremony will be on June 25th at 9:00am in the MS/HS Auditorium.
Students are not required to take the bus on this day and do not need to arrive at school by the regular start time of 8:08 a.m. Students who ride the bus will arrive at their normal time. All students should arrive between 8:30 a.m. and 8:40 a.m. and report to the second floor of the Middle School to line up for the ceremony. Families may begin entering the auditorium at 8:30 a.m.
Attire for the Ceremony
Students should dress similarly to how they would for a school concert or another special family event. While ties are certainly appropriate, they are not required. Comfortable and neat attire such as shorts, golf shirts, dress shirts, khakis, slacks, skirts, or dresses is perfectly acceptable. Please do not feel the need to purchase anything new for the occasion. As always, all clothing should comply with the school dress code, which our students do an excellent job of following throughout the year.
Following the Ceremony
The ceremony typically lasts approximately one hour to one hour and fifteen minutes. At the conclusion of the ceremony, students may leave with their families. Those taking their students home following the cermony will need to sign them out before leaving. Students who need bus transportation home should return to the 8th Grade classrooms on the second floor of the Middle School following the ceremony. They will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m. to board their buses. |

Senior portraits will be taken at Greenville High School on August 6 & 7, 2026 by Upstate Images, the Yearbook's official photographer. Scheduling a portrait session with Upstate Images is essential to ensure your inclusion in the senior yearbook.

Yearbook Portrait Requirements: Students may submit a vertical image of their choice. Clothing must be logo-free. Session 1 Sitting Options and Fees: (Sitting fees are prepaid online when the session is booked.)
- Platinum: $40 sitting fee includes 25-30 images (traditional yearbook attire, cap and gown, three casual outfits, multiple backgrounds)
- Gold: $30 sitting fee includes up to 20 images (traditional yearbook attire, cap and gown, two casual outfits, multiple backgrounds)

A huge thank you to faculty who presented book talks this year to Ms. Cremen’s reading groups. Ms. Fahy, Ms. Hamilton, Mrs. Fabian and of course, Ms. Conley, library media specialist, shared their expertise on topics including dirt bikes, humor, realistic fiction, animals, fantasy, short stories and graphic novels. Students enjoyed listening to their teachers of different subjects and their librarian share their love of reading and their favorite “picks.” Thanks everyone!
GRADUATION INFORMATION
Tickets
- Each student was allotted at least 7 tickets for graduation. For students who requested extra tickets on the Graduation Ticket Google Form, those requests are being processed.
- Tickets will be distributed at the end of Friday's mandatory graduation rehearsal.
- White tickets indicate “up front” seating in the auditorium, blue tickets indicate seating in the cafeteria section.
- Due to the size of this year’s graduating class, it is unlikely that extra tickets will be available at the door.
- All guests must have a ticket in hand to enter the auditorium.
- Guests must keep their ticket with them at all times.
- Seating is assigned. Each ticket will indicate a specific seat number. Live Streaming & Photos
- Graduation will be live streamed and available afterward on the District's YouTube page.
- Photos taken by the school will be available after the ceremony in the high school photo album. Ceremony Schedule
- Graduation is Friday, June 26, 2026 at 6:00pm in the MS/HS Auditorium.
- Graduates must arrive by 5:15pm and should report to the gymnasium.
- Guests may arrive at 5:15pm.
- Doors to the auditorium will close promptly at 6:00pm for the procession of graduates and will reopen afterward for any late-arriving, ticketed guests. REMINDERS FOR SENIORS

- Emails: As part of your transition to after high school life, you need to transfer any documents from your school Google account to a personal Google account. You can use Google Takeout to help you transfer your documents. It will not work to simply share your documents with your personal account, you need to transfer them. Here is a Google Doc that walks you through how you use Google takeout. We plan to suspend all Senior Google accounts on August 28th, please have everything transferred by then. If you have any questions on how to do this, please contact Mr. Grennan.
- Laptops: If you have a district issued device (laptop), it must be turned in before you graduate. You may turn in your laptop to the IT Department offices at any time if you are finished with it. When turning in your laptop, please make sure you bring both your laptop and charger. If you don't have the bag, don't worry about it. If you have misplaced/lost your charger, please be prepared to pay for it when you drop off your laptop so we can replace it. A charger is $35, we will take cash or a check made out to "Greenville CSD." *** IF YOU DO NOT TURN IN YOUR LAPTOP AND CHARGER (or pay for it), YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR DIPLOMA AT GRADUATION. *** If you have any documents stored locally on your laptop (for example on your desktop) that you wish to keep, please upload them to your Google Drive before you turn in your laptop. Your laptop will be erased after it is turned in.

FEATURING STUDENT ARTIST: ALANA HEALY
"For my exhibition, I wanted to explore how love languages can be expressed through art, especially in ways that do not rely on verbal communication. Each of my five artworks represents one of the five main love languages: gift giving, quality time, physical touch, words of affirmation, and acts of service. This allows me to show how care and connection can be communicated through actions, presence, and small gestures instead of words. Most of my works are based on personal experiences and moments from my daily life, like how A Wanted Burden was inspired by my daily routine with my cat. I chose a variety of media, including fabric, plaster, and found objects, to reflect how each love language feels different as well, like how The Comfort of Touch uses soft, layered fabrics to create a tactile surface that represents closeness and comfort from physical touch."
